artisan in Bali, Indonesia

Purchasing a Rescue Bracelet does more than Rescue and Feed Dogs. It also creates sustainable, living-wage jobs.

As soon as our cords, and charms reach our main facility in Denpasar, Bali, a crew loads up our van and motorbikes to distribute these components to artisans in remote villages scattered across the island. Women comprise 80 percent of this workforce. In Bali, women tend to assume the role of primary caretakers for their families, which means their job opportunities are limited. Because they’re able to hand assemble our bracelets in their homes and village centers, more women are able to join the workforce while continuing to care for their families.

Through worldwide support and the purchase of Rescue Bracelet products, we’ve rescued

Common customer questions:

What Is The Dog Meat Trade? And why is the dog meat trade a problem in today's world?

Well, in the Western world and Europe, dogs are mostly seen as companion animals, kept as friendly family pets. They can have other roles, too, like hunting or farm dogs, guide dogs, police dogs, and so on. In general, however, we see these creatures as our friends. They're famed for their loving, caring, and sociable nature and studies have shown that dog owners actually tend to live longer and happier lives, thanks to the presence of their canine chums. However, in other parts of the world, in countries such as China, South Korea, Vietnam, and Ghana, dogs are seen in a very different light. In these parts of the world and others, it's quite normal for dogs to be killed for their meat, just like farm animals such as chickens and cows.

On the face of it, there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, as various animals are raised and grown for their meat, and different countries and cultures can view certain animals differently. However, when you look more closely at the specifics of the dog meat trade across Asia and Africa, you start to see the real horrors of this issue and understand why so many animal lovers and organizations are working to end it.

What is being done about the dog meat trade in Ghana, China, South Korea and other parts of Africa?

Sands of time

My family and I are spreading my mother's ashes on her favorite beach next month. We lost her to cancer early this year. I will put some sand in my bracelet. What a great way to remember her!
Thankyou

Love The Rescue Bracelet

I purchased 6 bracelets for my family. We just took a tip to a special place for our family at the coast, in memory of family members that have passed. We laughed and even shed a few tears as we reminisced. We filled our bracelets with sand and now they represent our parents & brother as well as a new memory of bonding. We also are thrilled that they help environmental causes. I think they could make wonderful holiday gifts!

Better than expected!

I recommend that everyone purchase one of these bracelets and support the amazing cause that goes along with it. I adore my bracelet, but as soon as I saw the photo and journey of my incredible dog that's on its way to recovery, it brought such joy to my heart. I absolutely love the baby, and commend you for everything that you have done to help with his recovery. He has stolen a piece of my heart, and I will continue to track him and his progress
